A Silicon Valley-based startup - KODIF - is looking for an AI Engineer!

Kodif is a B2B seed-stage, venture-backed startup. We're empowering CX (customer experience) teams with data, automation, and AI.
We enable non-technical teams to build customer support automation without relying on engineers. Imagine ChatGPT which is customized to your company and brand, where you can take actions on behalf of your agents and customers.
We grew 7 times in 2023 and continue to grow fast. It's an exciting time to join right now, with a plan to raise Series A in March 2024.
Kodif is a well-funded startup. We have raised $3M so far. Our Pre-seed round was led by Village Global (backed by Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Reid Hoffman), and the Seed round by Bling Capital, a highly respected fund in Silicon Valley.
We have a growing team of 15, consisting of 7 engineers and 7 sales/marketing professionals. Founders are repeat founders, former senior engineers from Uber & Amazon, Stanford MBA, and ex-Plug & Play.
You'll be part of a small team that moves fast, values transparency and ownership, and focuses on making an impact.
You'll have the opportunity to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality software.
Customer logos include GoodEggs, ByteApp (YC/Floodgate backed), ReserveBar, NomNomNow (sold to Mars for 1 billion $), Trustwallet, and others.

More details about the opportunity:

Building both end-user and agent flows for our clients - B2C/D2C US-based companies - on Kodif’s dashboard based on data provided
Producing, maintaining, and modifying user interfaces - Web, Android, and IOS
Writing the logic for the flows such as refund etc.
Routinely testing flows for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors
Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise
Collaborating with Engineers (Back-End, Front-End, Mobile) to make the flow work
Talking to customers: understand what customers want and fix their problems
Flexibility to participate in evening calls (half of the team is based in US)

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of work experience
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, JQuery, and CSS
Understanding of key website design principles
Understanding of AI: should be able to write AI prompts for different classifications and know how overall AI works
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Ability to use client input to create functional, creative, and user-friendly webpages
Ability to test and debug websites
Analytical and detail-oriented
Project management skills: being able to set accurate timelines for projects/tasks
Project ownership skills: being able to own specific projects and take full responsibility for them
Problem-solving skills
Great communication skills
English is a must
