Role Overview

The Automation Intern supports the design, testing, and operation of automation workflows that improve operational efficiency and reliability.

This internship offers broad exposure to automation projects across teams, covering workflow logic, integrations, testing, troubleshooting, and operational readiness. Responsibilities grow progressively based on the intern’s level and demonstrated capability.

Key ResponsibilitiesFoundational Responsibilities

Test automation workflows and validate results
Verify workflow inputs and outputs
Assist with documenting automation logic and flows

Intermediate Responsibilities

Run test scenarios and validate integrations
Assist with maintaining and improving existing workflows
Identify and report automation improvement opportunities

Advanced Exposure

Assist with troubleshooting automation workflows
Support automation releases and operational readiness
Help maintain runbooks and operational documentation
Observe and learn end-to-end automation workflows across teams

Tools & Exposure

Python
APIs
Workflow engines and automation platforms
Automation frameworks
Monitoring and alerting tools
Basic data handling and validation

Learning Outcomes

Understanding of automation concepts and real-world use cases
Hands-on experience with workflow-based systems
