Position Overview:
We are looking for talented COBOL programmers at mid to senior levels to support and enhance an established system. This role will involve staff augmentation and participation in both support and development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the existing team to develop and maintain COBOL-based applications.
- Provide support for operational issues and system enhancements.
- Engage in code reviews, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Contribute to improving system performance and reliability.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in COBOL (3-5 years), Lynix, and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Blazer and Telerik
- Familiarity with technologies such as C# and .Net
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- English B1 and above.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Knowledge of fund-based accounting, payroll systems, or HR Systems.
Project Duration:
This is full-time long-term project expected to last for one year or more.
