Currently we are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our Minsk office to make the team even stronger.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to drive with the team through cloud engineering, as the company is embarking on a next generation of cloud orchestration geared towards substantial increase of infrastructure agility. We are looking for passionate engineers with a DevOps mindset who are results-driven, proactive and passionate about CD and automating everything. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work with the engineering and product teams on implementation and maintenance of highly versatile cloud orchestration, infrastructure as a code and continuous delivery solutions in AWS. You will be a part of international geographically distributed team of experienced professionals while being collocated with local team in our Minsk office.
PROJECT TECHNOLOGIES AND TOOLS- Puppet, migrating towards Chef
- Jenkins Pipelines
- Atlassian Stash (Bitbucket), Jira, Confluence
- AWS CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS
- Python, Ruby, AWS SDKs
- Sumo Logic, New Relic, Nagios and etc
- Analyze and improve existing systems, services and infrastructure
- Operate the platform within security and privacy guidelines
- Deliver commitments and timely escalate blockers
- Be a Gospeller of DevOps philosophy, CI/CD and Continuous Improvement values, spreading it across the field
- Strong experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux-based (CentOS, Debian, Amazon Linux, or similar) production systems
- 2+ years of any scripting language experience (Bash/Ruby/Python/Perl/etc.)
- 2+ years of automatically provisioning, configuring and deploying environments experience
- 1+ year of experience in tools such as Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, CloudFormation, Lambda, Terraform, Heat, etc
- Experience in any of virtualization/cloud (like AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, VMWare, Xen, OpenStack)
- English – must be able to participate in Scrum meetings
- Basic Agile/Scrum/Kanban/Lean understanding
- AWS SDK experience in your favorite language (such as Boto for Python)
- Understanding of Infrastructure as a Code principles and DevOps philosophy
- Deep understanding of CI/CD principals and challenges
- Experience in AWS CodeDeploy and AWS Lambda
- Experience in Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes
- DB management experience (such as MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, some NoSQL)
- Experience in monitoring and data mining such as ELK, Splunk, Sumo Logic, etc
- Experience in alerting monitoring such as Nagios/Icinga or similar
