DNS Engineer Application

Key Responsibilities

 • Assist in designing, configuring, and operating enterprise DNS environments

• Support DNS capacity planning, performance tuning, and high-availability setups

• Help implement and maintain Anycast-based DNS routing under senior guidance

• Assist in implementing and maintaining DNSSEC configurations

• Automate routine DNS provisioning and updates using APIs and scripting

• Monitor DNS systems and participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis

• Support incident response and assist in resolving DNS-related outages

• Integrate DNS services with monitoring and observability tools

• Maintain DNS documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures

• Continuously develop DNS expertise and follow best practices

Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience working with DNS

• Good understanding of DNS fundamentals, protocols, and architecture

• Practical experience with BIND and/or Infoblox is preferred

• Basic understanding of Anycast DNS concepts

• Basic or practical exposure to DNSSEC is a plus

• Ability to troubleshoot DNS and networking issues with guidance

• Experience with scripting or automation (Python, Bash, or similar) is a plus

• Good understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals

• Willingness to learn and grow in large-scale, production environments

• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
