International marketing agency DesigningIT.com is looking for a full time Middle/ Senior Front-end Wordpress Developer with min 3+ years of experience who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.
Responsibilities:
- Code websites from Figma, using modern Front end technologies
- Integrate with Wordpress CMS (and CraftCMS)
- Build highly usable, fast and responsive user interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Develop a flexible and well-structured frontend architecture
- Collaborate with product team and UI/UX designers
- Work independently and collaborate with the rest of the development team
** Bonus if you have experience with CraftCMS or ExpressionEngine
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 yr experience with HTML5/CSS3
- Minimum 1 yr experience with Wordpress
- Photoshop and Sketch
- Figma
- CSS including (SASS or LESS Precompiled Languages)
- Experience in adaptive/responsive web development
- Javascript as well as jQuery
- Local Servers (MAMP) or Virtual Machines (Docker)
- A framework or two (Bootstrap, UiKit, Foundation, Tailwind)
- An understanding but not necessarily a working knowledge of a back-end language like PHP
- CMS Experience (we use ExpressionEngine, CraftCMS)
- An understanding of solid SEO practices: Schema, On-Page SEO, Meta-Data
