We are looking for a Python developer to join a desktop-based product development. The product automates and speeds up the footwear buying process from popular websites. Used Python3 (async), Flask/FastAPI, MongoDB, Docker).
About project:
We are building a product called LuckySuit to automate and speed up the footwear buying process from popular websites (like Footlocker, Nike, etc). Such software is essential for purchasing the latest sneakers releases at retail prices, including limited-edition drops and collabs. As soon as the footwear is dropped on the source website, the software detects it and goes through the checkout process. The software is a console application that a license will sell.
What to implement next:
The project started in April 2021 and is going to be long-term. As for now, we have already developed a core part of the project.
The next stage will include additional footwear websites, application analytics, security, and licensing to ensure the app will not be hacked.
Client:
The client is from France but with very clear English. You’ll communicate with him directly. The client has several projects that add value to LuckySuit. He’s a very communicative and friendly person, respecting personal boundaries.
Team:
The Product Owner (the role taken by the client himself), the Project Manager from our side (she isn’t involved too much), Python Developer, QA will join a bit later. So you’ll be an additional developer to the team.
Project technologies stack:
- Python3 (async);
- Flask/FastAPI;
- PyArmor, PyInstaller, PyUpdater;
- MongoDB for statistics on client’s side;
- Docker & docker-compose.
Main responsibilities:
- Making technical decisions;
- Write clean, reusable code;
- Decompose and estimate tasks;
- Brainstorm with the team to find optimal solutions;
- Communicate directly with the client.
Technologies checklist:
- Experience in Python3 at least 3 years;
- Flask/FastAPI;
- MongoDB;
- Docker & docker-compose;
- English level - Upper-Intermediate (enough to participate in meetings with the client).
