On behalf of our Client from France, Mobilunity is looking for a Back-end Python Developer.
Our Сlient connects millions of buyers and merchants around the world to unlock cross-border trade. The company provides advanced international marketing solutions for e-commerce retailers and brands seeking to grow their businesses globally. The vision is to allow anyone to buy any product, anywhere in the world. Their e-commerce localization technology makes it easy for online retailers to quickly expand their business to new countries. It is used by some of the largest brands in the world. They provide solutions to challenges such as language translation, currency conversion, tax calculation, payments, shipping, customs clearance and duties.
As a Python Developer, you will be part of an international team (Belgium, Canada, France, Poland, Serbia) that is responsible for a number of applications for cross-border trade and logistics.
Tech Stack on the project:
Python, ReactJS, MySQL, PostGres, ElasticSearch, Docker/Kubernetes, gitlab pipelines, microservices architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
· Developing backend services and API’s in Python
· Maintaining, enhancing and creating new solutions on the platforms
· Implementing continuous integration and metrics to monitor the applications
· Providing operational support of the applications in production
· Performing occasional on call duties once every other month
Must-Haves:
· At least 3 years experience with Python and will be able to work with microservices
· Excellent tech skills, deep attention and understanding of product&business concerns
· Good problem solving skills
· Driven and independent employee who takes responsibility for their work, from development to operational management ; impact oriented work – you build it, your run it
· Git or other versioning systems
· Confident English skills (at least strong-intermediate level both written and spoken)
Bonus Points for:
· Experience working with Linux systems, automation tools and container services
· Test Driven Development
· Frontend experience with React and native HTML/CSS/JS stack (the position is for backend developer, but occasional frontend adjustments are needed)
· Experience in SOA and message queues (like RabbitMQ)
· Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, ELB, EBS)
· Experience with SQL/noSQL databases
