About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and motivated Technical Project Manager to join our young and dynamic team at Scramble. The successful candidate will manage technical tasks, working in close partnership with key stakeholders to ensure delivery to agreed milestones and priorities and to set quality standards. This role involves gathering and documenting technical requirements, overseeing the implementation of product features, and ensuring the successful delivery of tasks from inception to completion. What You'll Be Doing- Decompose tasks and create technical assignments for the development team, ensuring clarity and feasibility;
- Gathering and detailing requirements while keeping our product backlog in check;
- Monitor the status of ongoing tasks, update requirements as needed, and ensure timely delivery of product features;
- Verify that completed tasks meet the specified requirements and quality standards;
- Crafting comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets;
- Allocating resources efficiently to ensure top team performance;
- Monitoring project progress, identifying, and addressing issues or risks proactively;
- Keeping clear and effective communication with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- 2+ years of experience as a technical project manager, product manager, or IT business analyst required;
- BS/BA degree or equivalent, related to software engineering or IT system management preferred;
- Experience in the financial services industry and their IT systems preferred;
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Notion, Asana, or Microsoft Project;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project challenges;
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to plan and manage work independently.
