As we expand our AI capabilities, we are seeking a Senior AI / LLM Developer (Expert Level) to design and deploy production-grade AI systems that enhance observability, automation, and operational decision-making.
The Senior AI / LLM Developer designs and builds advanced AI-powered services that augment observability and automation platforms through intelligent analysis, correlation, and decision support.
This role focuses on applying and operationalizing large language models (LLMs) in production environments rather than training custom foundation models. You will build reliable, explainable, and cost-efficient LLM-driven systems for alert summarization, root cause analysis, event correlation, and natural-language interfaces over complex operational data.
You will work closely with observability, automation, and platform engineering teams to integrate AI into real-world operational workflows at scale. This role requires deep expertise in distributed systems, production AI architectures, and enterprise-grade reliability standards.
- Design and implement production-grade LLM-powered services for:
- Alert summarization and prioritization
- Root cause analysis (RCA) and incident explanation
- Event correlation across logs, metrics, and traces
- Natural-language query and exploration of operational data
- Build and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines over observability and operational datasets
- Design prompt orchestration, guardrails, and deterministic workflows to ensure:
- Reliability and predictable behavior
- Explainability and traceability of AI outputs
- Cost efficiency and latency control
- Integrate LLM services into existing observability and automation platforms
- Collaborate with platform, SRE, and automation teams to embed AI into operational workflows
- Design scalable APIs and services using modern backend frameworks
- Ensure AI systems meet enterprise standards for security, privacy, and compliance
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve AI system performance in production
- Languages & Frameworks: Python, FastAPI
- LLM Platforms & APIs: OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Gemini APIs
- AI Architecture: Vector databases, embeddings, RAG pipelines, prompt orchestration
- Data & Storage: MongoDB, Redis
- Infrastructure & Messaging: Message queues, cloud-native infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Systems: Distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building production AI or ML-powered systems
- Deep experience integrating and operating large language models in production environments
- Strong expertise in Python and backend service development
- Proven experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and embedding-based retrieval
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Experience designing reliable, scalable, and observable production services
- Ability to work cross-functionally with observability, automation, and platform teams
- Experience building AI-driven observability or automation systems
- Background in SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure tooling
- Experience optimizing LLM cost, latency, and reliability at scale
- Familiarity with compliance, security, and data governance for enterprise AI
- Experience working with enterprise or Fortune 500 clients
