HOI Agency is developing and running high-volume and highly successful products within online dating industry and for our office in Bishkek we are looking for a SENIOR DATA ENGINEER.
This role is designed for someone who enjoys the challenge of building a data warehouse from the ground up, and you are not afraid to take the initiative in using innovative ideas to deliver results. You have an entrepreneurial and go getter mindset and you are comfortable to work in a fast-paced, yet fun environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Build and support scalable and reliable data solutions from the ground up
- Translate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Create custom ETL processes based on customer needs and their existing data sources
- Contribute to the core design of data architecture, data models and schemas, and implementation plans
- Support regular ad-hoc data querying and analysis to better understand customer behaviors
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to design, build and improve Analysis performance bottlenecks
- Assist in creating and maintain reports in Tableau, including building new attributes and measurement functionality.
- Maintain and monitor data quality, including the creation of various alerts.
Technical skills we need:
- Come with at least 4+ years of professional experience in building data pipelines in Python, data analysis including SQL, database modeling and design
- Ability to develop reports in Tableau is preferable.
- Knowledge of AWS data stacks – we want our data warehousing build in AWS using tools like S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Redshift, Athena, RDS, etc.
- Coding languages like Python and SQL
- Basic understanding of git, Docker, Airflow and Jenkins would be a plus.
