What you'll do
· Design, implement, and optimize complex SQL logic (stored procedures, functions, triggers, views).
· Tune execution plans, improve throughput, and optimize schemas and indexing strategies.
· Review SQL code for best practices and provide guidance on PostgreSQL standards.
· Collaborate closely with application teams and support performance investigations.
· Contribute to data modeling and query design for scalable solutions.
· Work under strict performance and reliability criteria, focusing on measurable throughput improvements and scalability.
What you bring
· Strong expertise in PostgreSQL (advanced SQL, triggers, partitioning).
· Experience with Git/GitHub and structured database change management tools.
· Familiarity with microservices, containerized environments, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
· Knowledge of monitoring tools such as PostgreSQL extensions (pg_stat_statements) and performance diagnostics.
· Ability to collaborate in cross‑functional teams (backend, data engineering, QA, DevOps).
· Clear communication skills and structured approach to documentation.
· Motivation to drive code quality, observability, and predictable release workflows.
· English level B2 or higher.
