Company page: how to complete your profile and make it public

Your company page introduces your business on DevKG. Visitors can read about the company, follow its website link and browse material published in its name.

If the company is marked Hidden, open My companies → your company → Information. The checklist above the form shows what is missing. Complete those items and save your changes.

What visitors can see

  • The name, logo and description.
  • Website, LinkedIn and Instagram links, if provided.
  • Published jobs, events and articles associated with the company and available on this site. Anonymous jobs are not shown here.
  • A green “Verified company” checkmark if the company has been verified.

A company can have a public page without any publications. Visitors can still read its description and follow its links.

Why a page may be hidden

The site may require a completed profile. A company that does not meet these requirements is absent from the company directory, and only its members can open its page.

A new company is not necessarily hidden immediately: this depends on the site's rules and when they take effect. Check your company's status and the message above the form.

To complete the profile, prepare:

FieldWhat to add
LogoA square PNG, JPG or WebP image, at least 200 × 200 pixels and up to 2 MB.
DescriptionAt least 80 characters explaining what the company does and whom it helps. Leading and trailing spaces do not count.
WebsiteThe company's website address, such as https://hardskilled.com.

This site also requires company verification for a public page. If verification is the only item left, open the Verification tab and choose an available method. If none is offered, contact support.

For work-email verification, follow How to verify a company with a corporate email.

For document verification, follow How to verify a company with an STI-025 registration card.

Step 1. Open company information

  1. Sign in and open My companies.
  2. Select the company.
  3. Open the Information tab.

Administrators and members with permission to edit the company can change the profile. If you see information without an editable form, ask an administrator for access. See Company members.

Step 2. Check what is missing

If the page is hidden or has a completion deadline, a checklist appears above the form. Completed items have checkmarks. The Description item tells you how many more characters are needed.

HardSkilled is hidden for now. Two steps are left: finish the description and add the website. The logo is already uploaded.

The block above the Information form while the page is hidden. The numbered items are what is left to do

Use the action beside an item to jump to the relevant field. The verification action opens company verification instead.

Step 3. Complete and save the profile

  1. Upload the company logo.
  2. Write a description of at least 80 characters. Explain what the team does, whom it serves and where it works. Include only accurate details.
  3. Enter the company website. Add LinkedIn and Instagram links if you wish.
  4. Click Save.

For example: “We develop mobile apps for banks in Central Asia. Our team has 40 people, and our main office is in Bishkek.” Use this as a writing example, not as facts about your company.

If the website field is locked after domain verification, contact support.

Step 4. Check the page as a visitor

Once the required items are complete, the visibility restriction is removed automatically. No separate Publish button or moderator review is needed for this step.

You may see a message that the company is now visible to everyone, with a link to open its page. This message appears only once. Its absence on a later visit does not mean the page is hidden again.

Find the company in the directory, open its page and copy the link. Open that link in a private browser window where you are not signed in. This checks visitor access: company members can open hidden pages too.

If there is a completion deadline

A message asking you to complete the profile by a date means the page is currently accessible, but the requirements will apply from that date. If required items are still missing, the page will become hidden. Complete and save the profile now; there is no need to wait for the deadline.

If the company was moved from the old site

Check the transferred name, description, logo and links for outdated information.

The freshness item appears when the old information has not been updated for more than 12 months, or its update date is unknown, and the profile has not yet been saved after transfer. Review the details, correct any mistakes and click Save. If everything is correct, saving without changes confirms it is current.

This is a check of transferred information, not a requirement to reconfirm the profile every year.

Where the public page can appear

The company becomes accessible to visitors and can appear in the directory. Homepage placement depends on whether the homepage has a company block and which cards it displays. A public page does not guarantee a permanent homepage slot.

Google is separate. A public page may appear in search, but saving it does not make that happen immediately. Google must discover and process it; neither timing nor inclusion is guaranteed. See Google's explanation.

If something goes wrong

ProblemWhat to do
Everything is filled in but the page is hiddenSave your changes and check the list again. Look for verification or freshness items if shown.
The logo will not uploadCheck PNG, JPG or WebP format, a size up to 2 MB and dimensions of at least 200 × 200 pixels. Prepare a square version.
You cannot edit the detailsAsk an administrator for company editing permission. If only the website is locked, domain verification may be the reason; contact support.
A job is missingCheck that it is published on this site under the correct company. Anonymous jobs do not appear on company pages.
You can open the page but a candidate cannotTest it in a private window. Membership access does not mean public access. Check the status in My companies.
The page is public but absent from GoogleThis alone does not mean it is hidden. Check access without signing in and allow time for discovery. There is no guaranteed deadline.

If you cannot find the cause, contact support and include the company page link.
