What is DevKG — Kyrgyzstan’s IT community

DevKG is a community for people who work in IT or are just getting started. Find IT jobs in Kyrgyzstan and remote roles, discover events and read about other members’ experiences. Companies use DevKG to share vacancies and events with the community.

Where to start

How DevKG began

DevKG started in 2016 as a Telegram chat for developers in Kyrgyzstan. In 2018, the team registered devkg.com and began building the website. Jobs, events, articles and Telegram channels gradually joined the conversation.

The founder wanted to help scattered IT communities find one another and make the job market easier to understand. The early jobs channel introduced two important rules: name the company and include a salary range. Applicants could see who was hiring and what the role paid before discussing an offer.

In 2026, the community turned ten. DevKG was updated, and interests beyond IT became separate projects.

Why there are now several sites

People look for jobs in many fields, and events cover much more than technology. We gave those interests their own sites while keeping DevKG focused on IT.

For work in Kyrgyzstan in sales, finance, services and other fields, explore jobs on Hire.kg. This destination is in Russian.

If working outside an office is your priority, browse remote jobs on RemoteList. Check each vacancy’s location, language and working-hours requirements.

For events across different interests, visit Town.kg’s event listings, in Russian.

Do I need another account?
