Publication bundles: top up and use your company balance
Post jobs or events regularly? On DevKG, you can buy a bundle once and pay for later publications from your company balance. A bundle with a bonus gives you more spending credit than the amount you pay.
A bundle does not contain ready-made job posts or event tickets. It funds publications and their paid extras. Publishing articles is free.
A simple example
Your balance holds credits: units used to pay for services. These are prepaid credits, not a loan.
Suppose a bundle costs 5,000 som and includes a bonus of 500 credits. Your company receives 5,500 credits. A publication costing 1,000 som uses 1,000 credits, leaving 4,500.
These are example figures, not current prices. One credit covers one unit of the service's pricing currency: one som on a site priced in som. Check the currency, price, bonus and expiry before buying. The number of publications you can pay for depends on their prices and extras.
Who owns the balance, and where can you use it?
The company owns the balance, not the employee who bought the bundle. Administrators and members allowed to publish for the company can top it up and spend it.
The same company shares its balance across network sites using the same currency, where balance payments are available. A balance in som can pay for that company's placements on other sites priced in som. A site priced in dollars requires a separate balance: there is no conversion from som to dollars.
Creating another company with a similar name does not give it the same balance. Use the same company in the network. If a balance is missing on another site, check the company and currency, then contact support.
Step 1. Choose the company and bundle
- Sign in and open My companies.
- Select the company and click Top up beside its balance. The Balance tab also has a Buy a bundle button.
- Compare the available bundles: price, total credits, bonus and expiry.
Three steps. First, choose a bundle: three cards, each with the amount added to the balance, the bonus and the price. Second, who pays: A cash register receipt is enough, Company or sole proprietor in Kyrgyzstan, Foreign company. Third, the Pay … and Send a payment link buttons.
The illustration uses sample figures. Your checkout shows the available bundles and their actual terms.
Step 2. Choose who needs the documents
In Who pays, choose the appropriate option:
| Option | When to choose it |
|---|---|
| A cash register receipt is enough | You need a receipt without company documents |
| Company or sole trader in Kyrgyzstan | Documents should be issued to a local company or sole trader |
| Foreign company | Documents should be issued to a company outside Kyrgyzstan |
Check the billing details before paying. An administrator or company editor can fill in missing details. Ask a colleague to do this if you do not have permission.
Every option funds the selected company's balance. The payer and the owner of the balance are separate choices.
Step 3. Pay yourself or send a link to your accountant
Paying yourself: click Pay and complete payment using an available method. Once payment is confirmed, the bundle appears in the Balance tab.
An accountant or colleague is paying:
- Click Send a payment link.
- Click Copy and send the link to the payer.
- Ask them to check the company, bundle, amount and document recipient before paying.
The accountant does not need an account or sign-in. They pay for the selected bundle, and the company receives the credits.
Seeing Waiting for payment confirmation? The site has not received the final result yet. If money has been taken, do not pay again. Check the status; if it does not change, follow What to do if a payment fails.
How to pay for a publication from the balance
- Create a job or event for the correct company.
- On the final step, turn on Pay from balance in the Order summary.
- Check how much will be used, what will remain and whether an extra payment is needed.
- Click the publication button.
| Available balance | What happens |
|---|---|
| Covers the whole order | Click Publish. No additional payment is needed |
| Covers only part | Click Pay and publish, then pay the remainder using an available method |
Paying does not bypass publication review. The next status depends on the site's rules.
For one order, choose either company balance or personal points. To spend points, turn off Pay from balance. See Points and referrals.
Where to check the balance and expiry
Open the company → Balance:
- Available shows what you can spend now and which portion will expire soon.
- Purchased bundles shows each bundle's remaining credits and expiry.
- Transaction history shows purchases, bonuses, spending, returns and expired credits. Entries from other sites include the site's name.
If you see Balance changed, a colleague may have spent some credits. Check the updated calculation before trying again.
Documents and refunds
Bundle purchase documents cover the amount paid in money, excluding the bonus. Spending that balance does not generate another document for the same amount. Any extra payment in money is a separate monetary part of the order. See How to pay for a publication.
If a publication payment fails or is cancelled, the credits used return to their original bundles. Credits returned to an expired bundle expire immediately. Closing the payment window alone does not cancel a payment.
Contact support to request a bundle refund: the bundle must remain unused. Do not assume spent or expired credits can be refunded. See How to request a refund and the Refund policy.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| No purchase or balance payment button | Is the feature available on this site? Have you selected a company you can publish for? |
| The accountant cannot proceed | Has the link expired? An already-paid order needs no further payment |
| Money was taken but the balance has not increased | Check the payment status. Do not pay for the same bundle again |
| The balance is lower | Check the history for colleagues' spending or expired credits |
Before paying, check the company, bundle expiry and document recipient. These are the three details most likely to prevent a mistake.
